Every faith marks the circle of life with age-old rituals and ceremonies. But how are they celebrated and commemorated in a multi-faith, modern Britain?
Because this was filmed in lockdown, the camera work all felt very close and intimate which paired with the stories shared, even more so. My job was to be sensitive and subtle whilst trying to help form a connection between our audience and the families and at no point take centre stage.
Pads made from celesta and vocal reverbs paired with warm analogue textures, world percussion, hand drums, kalimbas, supported by airy, breathing strings and a soft piano.
